Sunday on the beach

Happy Easter Sunday everyone! Today was such a beautiful day that after I jumped out of the bed and had my breakfast, I ran to the beach to catch some sunshine. Although it was pretty much windy. So I could not stay long enough to read my book, cause the wind was really crazy. I was just chilling there for a while and listening to some good music. It is so important to calm your mind for a moment and just feel the breeze in the salty air. I took a few pictures, just random pictures that I want to share with you today. Hope you are having all a lovely Easter Sunday.

My Recipe for Healthy Banana Pancakes

Good morning! What is more powerful than to start your day right? I believe, that every beginning of a new day is a chance to live a bit better than yesterday. A little bit healthier, happier or more inspired. Embracing whatever positive direction that can drift your day to your better self and to making right choices. I like to practice meditation and mindfulness right after I wake up, because it allows me to not just open my eyes, but also my mind. Just finding ten minutes in your morning routine when you stay still for a moment and reconnect with yourself and the world, makes a difference. Even though I am such a fan of mornings and morning routines, today's is about breakfast. Fluffy, healthy and yummy banana pancakes. It's perhaps not as quick as filling your bowl with some easy whatever comes from the box, but when you want to treat yourself, it's sooo worth it! I have tried so many recipes for heathy banana pancakes but with time I have mastered it to the best version I truly enjoy. Maybe some breakfast genious has already brought this recipe, I have no idea, but I am sharing this one…

4 Days in Morocco

Last week we took a trip to Marrakech with my boyfriend. We stayed  for a couple of days in a traditional hotel (riad) in the center of Medina, the old town of Marrakech. When we got there the very first night, it seemed like a hidden treasure because of those narrow streets and local marrocan souk. First day we visited a lot of amazing places such as Majorelle Garden, which was my most favourite one. The heart of Marrakech known as a square of Jemaa el- Fnaa which has the most pulsing and buzzing atmosphere. There are all around local snake charmers and various artists among stands full of fresh orange juices and medjool dates. We visited the largest mosque Katoubia, incredibly beautiful palaces of Bahia and El Badi with its unique architecture. The Secret Garden and many other gorgeous places. We were strolling the town all day long, getting lost in the streets of Medina, which was so easy because the old town seemed like a huge labyrint to us. Drinking delicious marrocan tea, tasting tajine and couscous and encountering new situations out of ordinary, which built our unique marocain experience. The last day, we wanted to get out…

Free your soul

Growing up I was asking a lot of questions about myself, about my purpose, about the world. I was doubting everything. I never really get how the world became to today’s image and what it's meaning. I was feeling confused wondering why we are here, what should be truly doing with our life and I was never really getting a satisfying response. To be honest, I was also feeling kind of strange to be wondering this. Like if there was no one to whom it matters. So I did like others, trying to be how I should be according to their opinions. And I simply stopped asking those questions one day. But the curiosity stayed within. Few years ago when I became older, the same curiosity was about to be rising again. And I am so much grateful for it today. I decided that I will be trying to find the responses by myself. So i started to read more books, to listen to people who were wondering too (yes I found out that I am not alone), do yoga and meditation. Back then I just thought that there is something higher, something more to discover about the world itself.…

Roadtrippin’ in New Zealand

The farthest country I have ever travelled to is New Zealand. It was unforgettable experience and I still consider this voyage as my little travel gem. I have visited my sister, who had stayed there for about a year. I spent there two weeks. The best moments we lived through were when we set off for a roadtrip in the North Island for couple of days. Our aim was to reach the northernmost tip - Cape Reigna, where the Tasman sea and Pacific ocean meet. Without any plan where we'll spend the nights, but with a car, map and two backpacks. Adventurous free souls on the road. The very first stop I remember, that took my breath away was 90 Mile Beach, a costal beach with a wide stretch of white sand. We arrived there in the early morning, it was raining a bit, but the sun was about to unhidden itself from the clouds. Walking and appreciating this desert landscape, so peaceful and beautiful.   When we decided to go surfing down the dunes, it was the funniest moment of all. We rented surf boards and climbed on the tops of the dunes. Easy said than done. It was…

L’Escalet

One of my favourite place in French riviera, plage de L'Escalet in Ramatuelle. During the summertime it's just too overcrowded with people so I prefere going there in winter or spring. It's much more calm and pleasant. The sun is not too strong so you may get thrilled about exploring this lovely place by yourself. The nature is so pretty here, there are cactuses and rocks everywhere with little hidden beaches around. It is a must going here for a walk. That could be quite adventure though, because sometimes you have to climb onto rocks and it can get pretty wild. But nothing dangerous of course. What I enjoy the most is going here in the late afternoon. Firstly for a walk and then having a picnic on one of the beaches. Finding some higher spot in order to reach a lovely view to watch the sunset, it is just magical. Whenever you have a chance to travel to French riviera, I recommend this place to everyone.

The Essential of My Diet

The best advice to anyone trying to improve their diet would be definitely to focus on wholesome foods. Imagine your body as a treasure, that needs to be fueled with vitamins and minerals every day. Nourish yourself with good and real foods - fruits, cereals, nuts, healthy starches, vegetables and legumes. It is the best thing you can do for your body.  Try to reduce eating proccesed foods full of flavours, sugar, salt and chemistry. Nourishing your body with plant based foods is so beneficial. Not only for your skin, nails, energy level, lower chance of cancer and lower cholesterol but also for the planet. The most significant difference that I experienced with this lifestyle would be a far more better digestion, lower stress lever and mantaining my body weight. And last, but not least, simply having the best connection with food I've ever had. Being mindful when eating will also make a huge difference. Our bodies are smart enough to know what they need, so just listen to them. To change someone's habits does not happen overnight, but it does not matter. It is more fun to do it by small steps every day. They will do the…

Manifesting peace within me

To give an exact recipe how to find a peace with your inner-self is quite challenging. We have to find our own way, which works for us the best. It costs some effort and practice, but achieving this state of mind is just wonderful. And I am sure that each of us is able to do it. The first step for me was to find a place, where I can practise to reconnect. The most at ease I found myself was by the sea. Staring at the sea and its azure shades calm my thoughts and set my mind free. Hearing the waves as they crash in and out, like if there was nothing more important. So I stay there for a little while or few hours, depends. I can fully focus on my breathing and be aware of my own presence. It fills my heart with peace and happiness on the same time. I become aware of things I usually not pay attention to. I encourage each of us to find this place. It can be whenever, in the mountains, in the forrest, at your favourite spot or at home, in your room . As long as your thoughts…
